Bought this for my son’s wedding. It’s beautiful soft fabric. I am 5’4” 157lb I ordered the large because the size chart actually indicated I would need an xl and I felt it would be too big. It is slightly bigger in the bust but I can fix that. Otherwise it fits nicely, the size chart seems a little off but I think it depends on the cut or style you are buying. This dress is cut under the bust so is not tight in the waist area. I found the color to be true to the pictures. I ordered the cumin. I think if the bust fits you properly you could go bra less with some nip covers.
